Project Description
This project was created as part of a state-certified graphic design course. The task focused on the step-by-step reduction of an animal motif across four stages, using a highly simplified language of form and color. The chosen animal was designed in monochrome black and white and progressively reduced in each stage, following predefined design elements.
The exercise focused on abstraction skills and trained the ability to simplify complex forms while maintaining recognizability. By working within a grid system and applying structured design constraints, the project deepened the understanding of clear visual structures and organizational principles. These skills are essential in graphic design, particularly for applications such as pictograms and icon design, where clarity and reduction to the essentials are key.
